By accessing or using GoldenGuard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. GoldenGuard is a scam prevention and education platform designed for older adults and their families.

GoldenGuard provides educational content about current scam trends, a community forum for sharing experiences, and a scam-check tool that lets you forward suspicious text messages or emails for guidance. The Service is offered across free, standard, and community subscription tiers.

GoldenGuard offers guidance to help you identify potential scams, but our assessments are informational only and are not guaranteed to be accurate in every case. The Service does not constitute legal, financial, or law-enforcement advice. Always use your own judgment and consult trusted professionals or authorities before acting on any financial matter.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it current. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service under the supervision of a responsible adult.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. Scam-check usage limits are defined by your plan. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Our forums exist so members can warn and protect one another. You agree not to post false, harmful, harassing, or unlawful content, and not to impersonate others or share another person's private information. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these standards.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoldenGuard is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any financial loss arising from reliance on the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
